Sono andati in scena ieri sera, a Liverpool, gli MTV Europe Music Awards. La manifestazione è stata presentata da Katy Perry, eccezionalmente a proprio agio considerando sia che si trattava del suo esordio in tale veste e sia tenendo conto che non ha ancora 25 anni. Tra i momenti più densi della serata, la lunga introduzione che Bono ha dedicato a Paul McCartney. Il frontman degli U2 ha rivelato d’essere stato condotto sul sito, la Echo Arena, in un’auto guidata da Macca; Sir Paul gli ha illustrato vari luoghi della città e Bono ha detto “è stato come essere sulla Papamobile guidata dal Papa in persona”.
