Sono stati annunciati i vincitori dei premi "Roll Of Honour" del mensile musicale britannico "Classic Rock". La proclamazione è avvenuta ad una serata svoltasi presso la Roundhouse, nella zona londinese di Camden. Presentata da Duff McKagan, ex Guns N' Roses, la notte si è chiusa sulle note dei Lynyrd Skynyrd, che hanno suonato per mezz'ora per un gruppo di invitati. "Mentre la gente è tutta eccitata per Psy, o per i Fun o per Nicki Minaj, in realtà, anche se non si direbbe ascoltando la radio o guardando la TV, è stato un buon anno per il rock", ha detto Scott Rowley, direttore della rivista. "Ci sono stati ottimi nuovi album da parte di gente come ZZ Top, Rush, Aerosmith, Kiss, Springsteen, Slash, Lynyrd Skynyrd e Van Halen. E si stanno facendo largo anche nuovi artisti da tenere d'occhio, gente come Rivals Sons, Tracer, Howlin’ Rain, Gary Clark Jr e si potrebbe andare avanti". I vincitori:
