Tra le esibizioni della serata, quelle di Rihanna, Kings Of Leon e Miley Cyrus. Lady GaGa, di fatto la trionfatrice, non ha potuto presentarsi al Caja Mágica della capitale spagnola ma ha accettato i premi in collegamento da Budapest.
