Stando ad alcune fonti di stampa internazionali verrà ripubblicato il 26 giugno (in Europa da Bella Union) l'album dei Flaming Lips "The Flaming Lips and heady fwends", uscito in formato doppio vinile e in tiratura limitata a 10 mila copie in occasione del Record Store Day del 21 aprile scorso e da allora esaurito.
Come noto, si tratta di un progetto speciale che vede la band di Wayne Coyne collaborare con artisti mainstream e alternative: la nuova versione, disponibile in formato cd e digital download, sostituisce il brano conclusivo "I don't want you to die", inciso insieme a Chris Martin dei Coldplay, con "Tasered and maced", registrata con la collaborazione di Aaron Behrens del duo electro-rock di Austin Ghostland Observatory.
