Van Der Graaf Generator, esce il box-set ‘Interference Patterns’
Sarà spedito sui mercati il prossimo 23 settembre da Esoteric Recordings “Interference Patterns – The Recordings 2005-2016”, cofanetto da 14 Cd in edizione limitata che include (quasi) tutti gli album da studio pubblicati dalla band di Peter Hammil dopo la reunion del 2005, secondo ritorno sulle scene della storica formazione di “The Least We Can Do Is Wave to Each Other” dopo la parentesi di attività tra il 1975 e il 1978: oltre a “Present” (2005), “Trisector” (2008), “A Grounding in Numbers” (2011), “ALT” (2012) e “Do Not Disturb” (2016), il box set offrirà anche i dischi dal vivo dei Van Der Graaf Generator “Real Time” del 2007 (in origine reso disponibile solo per il mercato giapponese), “Live at the Paradiso” del 2009 (sotto forma di doppio DVD), e “Merlin Atmos” del 2015 - ma non “Live at Metropolis Studios 2010” del 2012 e “Live at Rockpalast – Leverkusen 2005” del 2018, senza contare “After the Flood: At the BBC 1968-1977”, che però fa riferimento a materiale registrato prima del periodo preso in considerazione.
La pubblicazione - in vendita a 76 sterline - sarà accompagnata da un booklet di 96 pagine con fotografie e interviste agli elementi della band curato da Sid Smith, già autore della biografia dei King Crimson “In The Court Of King Crimson”.
