E' il giusto omaggio all'uomo che gli ha dato due dei suoi maggiori successi, "Cocaine" e "After midnight". Eric Clapton ha approntato un album di tributo a JJ Cale, il grande musicista scomparso nel luglio dello scorso anno, e il disco ospita nomi di spicco quali - tra gli altri - Tom Petty e Mark Knopfler. Il lavoro è stato battezzato "Eric Clapton & friends: the breeze, an appreciation of JJ Cale" e sarà pubblicato il prossimo 29 luglio.
