E' iniziato in grande stile a Charlotte, Nord Carolina, il Maiden England World Tour, ossia il tour mondiale che gli Iron Maiden dedicano a rivangare i fasti degli anni Ottanta: la scaletta, infatti, è quasi interamente basata sulle canzoni suonate nel tour del 1988/89 di "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son" e immortalato nel video intitolato, appunto, "Maiden England" (pubblicato alla fine del 1989).
Il primo concerto del tour (tenuto il 21 giugno) ha avuto una scaletta di 17 brani; eccola:

La band, come si può vedere, ha eseguito tre brani in particolare che non facevano più parte della scaletta da molti anni: "The Prisoner" (suonata l'ultima volta il 21 settembre 1991), "Afraid To Shoot Strangers" (mai più suonata dal 12 dicembre 1998) e "Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son" (fuori scaletta dal 12 dicembre 1988).
La prima tranche del tour tocca il nord America, ma nel 2013 sono previste molte altre date nel resto del mondo.
