I Kinks annunciano l'uscita di “The Journey – Part 3”

I Kinks danno seguito alle celebrazioni per il 60° anniversario della loro carriera pubblicando, il prossimo 11 luglio, l'ultima parte della trilogia, “The Journey” che ripercorre il periodo musicale che va dal 1977 al 1984.

“The Journey” e “The Journey – Part 2” vennero pubblicati nel 2023. L'uscita è stata curata dalla band ed è disponibile in due dischi. Il primo è composto da 11 brani classici e successi dell'epoca rimasterizzati dai master originali. Il secondo contiene registrazioni inedite, scoperte nell'archivio Konk, dal concerto alla Royal Albert Hall di Londra dell'11 luglio 1993. Il cofanetto sarà disponibile in formato 2 CD, 2 LP, digitale e HD. I formati fisici includono il commento traccia per traccia della band e nuove note di copertina di Phil Alexander.
