La playlist natalizia di Neil Young da 107 minuti

Con l'avvicinarsi del Natale, Neil Young ha presentato la sua personale playlist a tema. La selezione del cantautore canadese include ventisette brani, per un totale di 107 minuti, raccolti in un unico video di un caminetto acceso disponibile sul suo canale YouTube ufficiale.

La playlist include alcuni classici di Young, tra cui "Heart of gold", "Old man" e "Harvest moon". Sono inoltre presenti nove tracce da "Seven Gates: A Christmas Album", la raccolta del 1994 del collaboratore di lunga data Ben Keith (in seguito ripubblicata come "Xmas At The Ranch"), che comprendeva Neil Young, Johnny Cash, J.J. Cale e altri. La selezione contiene anche una versione della popolare melodia di tradizione inglese, "Greensleeves", regsitrata dal solo Young al Broken Arrow Ranch nel 1974 e una rilettura incisa per "Seven Gates" con il cantautore accompagnato da un coro di ventisette ragazzi.
