Pretty Things: per il loro addio ai concerti David Gilmour e Van Morrison - VIDEO

I Pretty Things hanno tenuto lo scorso 13 dicembre alla O2 di Londra il loro ultimo concerto. Per questa ultima esibizione, la storica band inglese è stata raggiunta sul palco da un paio amici, segnatamente il chitarrista dei Pink Floyd David Gilmour e l’ex Them Van Morrison.

I Pretty Things si formarono nel 1963 e rimasero attivi fino alla metà degli anni Settanta. Si riunirono nel 1978 e da allora sono rimasti insieme. La band ha annunciato il ritiro dalle attività dal vivo a causa dei problemi di salute del cantante Phil May.

Come ha dichiarato al chitarrista Dick Taylor a X-Press Mag:

"La band in questo momento funziona alla grande. Purtroppo per Phil May è molto difficile andare in tour, quindi dobbiamo sospendere l’attività live. Ma potremmo fare alcuni festival se qualcuno ci torce abbastanza il braccio e ci offre abbastanza denaro."
