Replacements, parte il reunion tour con "Seen your video" suonata dopo 24 anni - VIDEO

E’ vero, si erano già riuniti per qualche concerto nel 2013 ma lo scorso 9 aprile al Paramount Theatre di Seattle i Replacements hanno dato il via al loro vero e proprio reunion tour.

La band capitanata da Paul Westerberg ha aperto il proprio set proponendo “Seen your video”, canzone contenuta nell’album del 1984 “Let it be”, che non veniva eseguita dal vivo dall’anno del loro scioglimento nel 1991.

Durante il concerto Stinson e soci hanno presentato, come da manuale, un grande numero di canzoni e alcune cover di grandi classici: “20th century boy/Bang a gong (Get It On)” dei T-Rex, “Maybellene” di Chuck Berry, “Iron man” dei Black Sabbath, “My boy lollipop” di Millie Small e l’immortale “Suzanne” di Leonard Cohen proposta dal solo Paul Westerberg.
