Out of the game" è il nuovo album di Rufus Wainwright, il settimo della sua carriere. Il disco è stato prodotto da Mark Ronson, già produttore di Amy Winehouse. Per il successore di "All days are nights: songs for Lulu" del 2010, Rufus ha riferito che si tratta dell'album più pop che abbia mai fatto. Ospiti di "Out of the game" sono Martha Waiwright (sua sorella minore), Sean Lennon, Nick Zinner degli Yeah Yeah yeahs e Nels Cline dei Wilco.
