I Tired Pony sono il side-project di Gary Lightbody, frontman degli Snow Patrol: il gruppo è composto assieme a Peter Buck dei R.E.M, Scott McCaughey dei Minus 5 e da Richard Colburn dei Belle & Sebastian. Nel disco del “supergruppo” sono presenti anche piccoli "camei" dell'attrice/cantante Zooey Deschanel (già con M Ward impegnata nel progetto She and Him), Iain Archer, Jacknife Lee e Tom Smith, cantante degli Editors.
