Nel 1985 David Byrne, leader dei Talking Heads, diede alla stampe l’album “The knee plays”. Il disco conteneva le musiche per la pièce teatrale “The civil wars” del regista americano Robert Wilson. Quel disco, disponibile fino ad oggi esclusivamente in vinile e musicassetta, viene dato alle stampe in versione CD con l’aggiunta di otto episodi non presenti nell’edizione originale dell’opera.
