Giunge alla terza tappa il percorso discografico dei Polyphonic Spree, la band texana capitanata da Tim DeLaughter e composta da oltre 20 elementi (di cui 10 coristi).
Anticipato dall’uscita dell’EP “Wait”, “The fragile army” rivela qualche episodio maggiormente oscuro e malinconico rispetto al precedente lavoro, anche se prevale la linea solare e luminosa che ricorda formazioni psichedeliche come Flaming Lips e Mercury Rev.
