“Blemish”, l’ultimo album di inediti di David Sylvian, fu un album di elettronica minimale, nel quale l’ex leader dei Japan fu assoluto ed unico protagonista (autore, interprete, produttore e ingegnere del suono). “The good son Vs. the only daughter” riesplora i brani presenti su quel disco, affidandoli alle cure di noti autori di remix come Burnt Friedman, Yoshihiro Hanno, Akira Rabelais, Ryoki Ikeda e Sweet Billy Pilgrim.
