Jools Holland, negli Squeeze dal 1974 al 1980 e
poi ancora dal 1985 al 1990, ha in pubblicazione
un nuovo album in
questi giorni. Il lavoro s'intitola "The informer" e dispiega
nuovamente la
Rhythm & Blues Orchestra del tastierista londinese, un
gruppo composto da venti elementi. Tre quarti
dei diciassette pezzi
sono stati composti da Holland, il quale negli anni Ottanta condusse il
programma
televisivo "The tube"; con lui c'era Paula Yates, ex moglie
di Bob Geldof, morta per overdose nel 2000
a 41 anni. Al CD, anche se
non per tutti i mercati, è allegato un altro CD gratuito con i brani
eseguiti
dall'artista ai concerti benefici del marzo 2007 presso le
cattedrali di Wells e Rochester; alla serata
di Rochester c'era anche
