E' programmata per il prossimo 24 ottobre la pubblicazione italiana di un album di Mariah Carey contenente esclusivamente sue ballate. Il disco è intitolato, non sorprendentemente, "The ballads" e contiene i seguenti brani:

In Gran Bretagna ed Irlanda l'album uscirà il 20 ottobre, negli USA invece nel gennaio 2009.
