Mick Hucknall: esce a maggio il debutto solista

Verrà pubblicato il prossimo 16 maggio il debutto solista dell'ex leader dei Simply Red Mick Hucknall, "Tribute to Bobby": l'album sarà composto da cover di Bobby “Blue” Bland, leggendario soulman che l'artista ha avuto l'opportunità di incontrare (come testimonia un DVD allegato al disco) a Memphis. Prodotto dal fido Andy Wright, "Tribute to Bobby" conterrà i seguenti brani: “Farther up the road”, “Ain’t that lovin’ you”, “I’m too far gone (to turn around)”, “Poverty”, “Yolanda”, “Stormy monday blues”, “I wouldn’t treat a dog (the way you treated me)”, “I’ll take care of you”, “Chains of love”, “I pity the fool”, “Cry,cry,cry”, “Lead me on”. Mick Hucknall si esibirà il prossimo 19 luglio ad Aosta, il giorno successivo al Summer Festival di Brescia, il 22 a Roma ed il 23 al Summer Festival di Lucca (vedi News, Concerti).
