Lo scorso 26 aprile la regina d’Inghilterra Elisabetta ha compiuto 90 anni. La prossima domenica BBC Radio 2 manderà in onda un programma intitolato ‘Our Queen’ nel quale sarà trasmessa la playlist delle canzoni preferite dalla regina. Come prevedibile trovano posto inni religiosi e canti militari. Sua cugina, Lady Elizabeth Anson, ha commentato: “La regina ama il teatro e i musical come ‘Showboat’, ‘Oklahoma!’ e ‘Annie Get Your Gun’. Canzoni che rimangono in testa e che sono ballabili. La regina è una ballerina fantastica. Ha grande senso del ritmo."
