CMT Awards, i vincitori (con Carrie Underwood)

I CMT Music Awards di quest'anno, svoltisi presso la Bridgstone Arena di Nashville, sono stati definiti "i più vari da parecchio tempo" anche perché i riconoscimenti sono stati assegnati esclusivamente grazie all'apporto del pubblico. Il premio principale, "Video of the year", è andato a "Good girl" di Carrie Underwood, 29 anni, da Muskogee in Oklahoma. Carrie è la vincitrice della quarta edizione di "American idol" e ha pubblicato quattro acclamati album; l'ultimo, "Blown away" del mese scorso, è arrivato al primo posto delle classifiche USA con 267.000 copie nella prima settimana. I CMT Music Awards, basati su video e performance televisive country, sono iniziati nella presente forma nel 2002 e quest'anno sono stati presentati da Toby Keith e Kristen Bell.
