NME Awards, i vincitori

Nessun risultato a valanga, come invece accaduto per le ultime due grandi ondate di riconoscimenti, i Grammy Awards e i Brit Awards, agli NME Awards, svoltisi ieri sera alla 02 Brixton Aacademy di Londra. I premi del "New Musical Express", lo storico settimanale che esce dal 1952, sono stati equilibrati e non hanno evidenziato, se non con la parziale eccezione di Florence & The Machine, nessun netto trionfatore. Tom Meighan dei Kasabian, band che si è portata a casa il "Best British band", ha reso omaggio a Davy Jones dei Monkees, da poco scomparso. La serata è stata chiusa da Noel Gallagher che ha proposto un medley di suoi brani. La lista dei principali vincitori:
