Settimo album in studio per gli Europe, storica rock band svedese capitanata da Joey Tempest. “Secret society” è un lavoro rock che, rispetto al precedente, vede un maggiore uso delle tastiere ed alcune venature blues: alla realizzazione del disco hanno partecipato l’ingegnere del suono Lennart Ostlund, già al lavoro con Led Zeppelin e Scorpions, e George Marino, collaboratore di AC/DC e Coldplay.
Il titolo dell’album è nato da una conversazione con l’ex cantante dei Led Zeppelin Robert Plant che ha definito i musicisti come una “società segreta”.
