A tre anni da “Behind the music”, lodatissimo soprattutto in Inghilterra, il sestetto svedese di Goteborg conferma le attese con un disco zeppo di citazioni “storiche” (Who, Stooges, Stones, Pink Floyd, Byrds, Doors, i gruppi punk americani dei ’70 e primi ’80), chitarristico, svelto e in bilico tra ballate sofficemente pop e assalti elettrici all’arma bianca. In “Midnight children”, omaggio al pop maudit di Serge Gainsbourg, c’è un cameo vocale della sua antica musa, Jane Birkin.
