Dopo alcune diatribe con la loro casa discografica, esce finalmente il secondo album dei Liars ( “bugiardi”).
La band newyorkese ci offre dieci brani di rock contaminato da post-punk, industrial, dub e noise, che ricordano band come Can, Butthole Surfers, Einsturzende Neubauten, El Guapo ed i primi Sonic Youth.
. Da “They were wrong, so we drowned” è stato estratto il singolo ““There's always room on the broom”.
