Nuovo album di Barry Manilow, tutte canzoni degli anni Ottanta

23 ott 2008 - Barry Manilow, vero nome Barry Alan Pincus, nato il 17 giugno 1946 a Brooklyn, debuttò nell'estate 1972 e pubblicò il suo primo album l'anno successivo. Il suo brano più noto rimane "Mandy" del 1974. Sebbene spesso (se non sempre) ignorato dalla critica, il cantante continua a godere, specialmente negli USA, di ottime vendite. E ora, con "The greatest songs of the Eighties", sua quarta collezione di brani dedicati ai decenni musicali, presenta una serie di cover degli anni Ottanta. Tutti i pezzi sono marcatamente easy listening. "The greatest songs of the Eighties" sarà pubblicato il prossimo 24 novembre e contiene queste canzoni:
