07 gen 2002 - Il vincitore è... Un attimo di pazienza, please. Con oggi si conclude il doppio referendum di Rockol. Siete in tempo fino a mezzanotte per votare al referendum dei lettori (all'indirizzo . http://www.rockol.it/referendum.asp ). I risultati verranno pubblicati la prossima settimana. Oggi vi sveliamo invece i nostri preferiti: negli ultimi giorni abbiamo riproposto -una al giorno, dall'ultima alla prima -le recensioni dei quindici dischi dell'anno, votati e scelti da redazione e collaboratori.
Il vincitore è "Gold" di Ryan Adams. L'ex leader dei Whiskeytown ha vinto di un soffio con il suo secondo disco solista, una grande prova di riscrittura della tradizione del rock a stelle e strisce (che non a caso compaiono capovolte sulla copertina del disco). Secondi classificati i New Order: "Get ready", primo disco dopo 8 anni, ci è piaciuto davvero tanto. A seguire eels, Radiohead e Strokes per una classifica che comprende anche italiani (Verdena), soul (Angie Stone), esordienti (Starsailor) e grandi nomi della tradizione rock (R.E.M., Fugazi e Elton John, su fronti diversi).
