√ Concerti, Morrissey si imbarca in un grande tour nordamericano

24 giu 2012 Sicuramente non c'entra, anche perché un tour si programma mesi prima, ma pare quasi abbia fatto apposta, Morrissey, ad annunciare una lunga serie di date nordamericane proprio quando si era interpretata una sua dichiarazione come un autopensionamento. Si era ipotizzata come data del ritiro del Mozzer il suo cinquantacinquesimo compleanno. Ma Steven Patrick Morrissey, nato a Davyhulme nella cintura metropolitana di Manchester da genitori irlandesi, forse aveva abbondato con la - peraltro consueta - autoironia. L'ex frontman degli Smiths, l'influente gruppo pop scioltosi nell'estate 1987, attraverso il suo portavoce pochi giorni fa ha chiarito: "Morrissey vorrebbe sottolineare che le notizie sul suo 'ritiro', come rimarcate in modo elettrizzato da numerosi quotidiani e siti, sono solo una pia illusione". E ora una camionata di date USA. Tuttora senza etichetta, il cantante farà ascoltare, oltre ovviamente ai migliori brani solisti e ad una selezione di pezzi degli Smiths, anche qualche inedito.
